History of the Foundation

This organization is one of the oldest in the country in this area, since it was formed back in 1997, but initially operated as a non-profit. Due to changes in the law in 2014, Social Development was transformed into a joint-stock company.

As required by law, its exclusive areas of work are participation in the compulsory pension insurance system and the formation of non-state pension provision.

The sole shareholder is registered in Moscow. The owner of the latter is the individual Sudarikov Sergey Nikolaevich. The fund is part of the savings insurance system, has more than 20 years of experience in this area and declares maximum diversification of investments, which is generally confirmed by its performance indicators.

Important! On September 30, 2020, the NPF shareholder decided to reorganize it by merging with NPF Evolution. Together with him, the merged company will also include the Education and Soglasie funds. All funds of citizens managed by Social Development will be redirected to the legal successor of NPF Evolution.

How to join?

Note! Be careful when agents are visiting apartments or making calls, do not give your passport data and SNILS number to suspicious persons. Check the accuracy of the facts (for example, about reorganization), ask for certification and do not forget that the contract is usually not renewed; it is for an indefinite period.

On the website you can submit an application for an agreement to transfer to the NPF “Social Development”.

A form will open on the page https://npfsr.ru/support/dogops/ where you need to indicate:

  • current full name;
  • contact details: mail and telephone;
  • address;
  • Full name at birth;
  • place and date of birth;
  • insurance certificate number;
  • passport information;
  • Full name of heirs;
  • current storage location of the funded part of the pension;
  • consent to the processing of entered information.

Note! An online application is not considered sufficient to transfer to a non-state pension fund. The execution of the contract takes place only in the personal presence of the person.

The submitted application will be reviewed within a few days. Employees will contact you to clarify details and consult on the necessary documents. Usually this is SNILS and a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation.

Transferring to another NPF also involves submitting an application to the current NPF or the Pension Fund of Russia.

Funds are transferred in March of the following year after the conclusion of the contract. Then the status of the document itself is set to active.

Note! You can transfer your pension without losing investment income once every 5 years. Otherwise, there is a chance of losing up to a quarter of your savings.

Reliability rating

The Expert RA rating agency withdrew the rating in 2010. Before this, the mark was at level “A”.

Awards and ratings

NPF "Social Development" does not participate in the ratings of well-known Russian agencies RAEX (Ra Expert) and NRA (National Rating Agency).

At the same time, all non-state pension funds are under strict supervision of government and audit services, and are also subject to rough assessment by rating agencies.

Based on data from the Central Bank of Russia at the end of 2020, Social Development ranks 32nd in the rating of non-state pension funds in terms of investment return.

Who is the owner of the fund?

The founders of the company were several large companies, including the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant, Tuapse Sea Commercial Port, Indesit International, etc. In the winter of 2020, the NPF was sold to the financial and investment group "Future", which now owns 100% of the company's shares. The ultimate beneficiary is Russian entrepreneur Boris Mints, who owns 76.43 shares of Social Development worth 91.7 million rubles.

Briefly. The Future financial group owns and manages several non-state pension funds controlled by the O1 Group holding: Social Development, Education, Telecom-Soyuz, Future. Through its assets it serves about 5 million people, the total volume of assets is more than 330 billion rubles. These funds occupy leading positions in the non-state pension market in Russia.

NPF “Social Development” was established in 1997 and today is one of the largest non-state pension funds operating in the Russian pension market. The main activities of the Foundation are:

  • activities for non-state pension provision of fund participants in accordance with non-state pension provision agreements;

The pension reserves of the NPF “Social Development” as of January 1, 2009 amount to 1.39 billion rubles, and the total contribution of the Founders is over 121 million rubles. The total pension payments made by the Fund since the beginning of its activities reach 139 million rubles. In 2008, the independent rating agency "Expert RA" assigned the NPF "Social Development" a high reliability and success rating of "A". The fund was awarded professional awards “Financial Olympus” in the category “Dynamics and Efficiency”, “Lipetsk Nail - 2008” for its contribution to the development of business and the economy of the Lipetsk region. The Foundation sees its mission as raising the socio-economic standard of living of Russians upon retirement.
