    Termination of an employment contract at the initiative of the employer may be associated with the implementation of certain actions on the part of the employee or have objective reasons (Article 81 of the Labor Code).

    • failure of the employee to pass certification;
    • absenteeism or going to work while drunk or otherwise intoxicated;
    • a single gross violation of one’s labor functions;
    • entry into legal force of a court verdict, as a result of which the employee cannot go to work (conviction to stay in prison, etc.);
    • union demand;
    • submission of false documents when applying for a job, etc.

    Committing the above illegal actions deprives the employee of the right to enroll a certain period of unemployment in a continuous MD (clause 7 of the Rules).

    Only in the first case, additional payments cannot exceed 80% of the salary, and in the second there is a limit of 100%. This is for medical professionals only. All other employees cannot receive bonuses that total more than 50 and 80 percent, respectively.

    Continuous medical work experience is what many employees in this field strive for. And there are reasons for this. After all, for continuous work, personnel are awarded certain additional payments in certain amounts.

    What can any personnel who work in the medical field count on? Or more precisely, all employees of healthcare institutions and places of social protection of the population? It does not matter whether continuous medical experience in private clinics is implied or in public ones. The main thing is its presence and duration. All personnel who work in the field of health and social protection receive a bonus of 20% of the salary paid for the first 26 months of work, as well as 10% for each subsequent 24 months of work (but not more than 30% in total).

    It has been established that in order to enter a well-deserved rest, a medical worker is obliged to carry out medical activities no less than:

    • 25 years under working conditions in rural areas;
    • 30 years under working conditions in urban healthcare institutions.

    Against the background of changes in pension legislation, which consist in increasing the criteria regarding the required number of years for citizens to retire, initiatives have been repeatedly introduced to increase the requirements for the length of service of medical workers. However, at the moment, no specific decisions have been made on this issue.

    However, the reform of the pension system also affected medical workers. Starting from 2020, a rule has been introduced according to which a deferment in the assignment of pensions to doctors who have worked the allotted time is established. This period will increase by 1 year until it reaches 5 years in 2023.

    Attention! In 2020 and 2020, there will be a relaxation of deferment, which consists of assigning a pension six months earlier. Thus, in 2020, doctors will be able to apply for pension benefits after 6 months of service, and in 2020 after 18 months.

In addition, for health workers working in rural areas, a year of medical experience is counted as 1 year and 3 months.
