VEB.RF Group became the owner of a blocking stake in NPF Blagosostoyanie

MOSCOW, December 26. /TASS/. (part of the VEB.RF group) became the owner of a blocking stake in NPF Blagosostoyanie of 25% plus one share. This is stated in the company's statement on its information disclosure website.

According to the message, the date of the event is December 26 of this year. The VEB structure received 1,050,000 votes.

“VEB.RF, as a state management company, has extensive experience in dealing with the savings of “silent people.” It will allow, within the framework of the NPF, together with Russian Railways and Gazprombank, to offer the market the best practices of cooperation with employers who create pension programs for their employees,” commented the head of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov on the deal, as quoted by the press service of the state corporation.

As VEB.RF representative Andrey Samokhin explained to reporters, NPF Blagosostoyanie will be focused on working within the framework of the new system being developed for the protection of pension savings - the guaranteed pension plan (GPP). “Our goal is to gain the trust of citizens in the new system based on the competencies of VEB.RF in matters of managing pension resources,” he added.
