2. Select “PFR” in the “Authorities” tab.
3. Click “Extract on the provision of social assistance.”
4. In the window that appears, indicate the need to receive the service electronically by checking the appropriate box.
5. Enter the certificate number.

For citizens who have access to the Internet, it is possible to obtain all the necessary information about the balance directly through the pension fund website. To do this, you must follow the following procedure:

1. Log in to your personal account. Logging into the Pension Fund account is possible only if you have a confirmed account on the government services portal.
2. Select the tab related to maternity capital.
3. Go to the section “Get information about the remaining part...”.

In the newly appeared window, information about the amount of MK online at the current moment will appear.

If you need to obtain an official document, you need to follow the link “Order a certificate...” in your personal account. You can receive it either electronically or in the form of a paper printout. You can obtain online information about the balance of maternity capital through the Gosuslugi portal and the website of the state pension fund. Other services, including government ones, do not provide such information.

There are quite a few sites on the Internet that offer to quickly find out how much money is left. However, it is not recommended to use their services, since, as a rule, such resources require a certain fee, while information is provided free of charge on official government resources.

Types and purpose of requested certificates.

To begin with, let us clarify that a mortgage for maternity capital is not issued without a certificate of appropriate content. This document is included in the list of mandatory submissions along with other items. In addition to the certificate, banks also require a certificate confirming the right of the borrower or his spouse to receive state support funds.

The content of the certificate includes a small amount of information, consisting of:

• title of the document;
• name of the authority that issued the document;
• certificate owner data;
• insurance number of an individual personal account;
• the amount (balance) of funds allocated under the certificate.

The lender, receiving such information, can verify the availability of funds from the borrower, as well as pre-calculate the result of repaying the mortgage.
If the client makes an initial payment using capital, the remaining funds should be sufficient to repay part of the cost of the purchased object. In different banks this part can range from 10 to 20%.

If we are talking about early repayment of an already issued loan, the mortgage will be recalculated based on the amount of transferred funds. The owner of the certificate, having the capital in full, can partially repay the loan with interest accrued on it or completely close the loan account.

It is important for the lender to understand that if state support funds are partially spent, the balance of money in the parent’s personal account may not be enough to repay the loan or the down payment. In such circumstances, the client has the right to add personal savings to fulfill the bank's requirement. For example, Sberbank and VTB allow you to partially repay the initial payment with maternity capital, and pay the remaining amount from personal funds.

A certificate of the balance of funds to repay the mortgage with maternity capital is not the only document that is involved in the scheme for managing state support funds. If the owner of the certificate intends to repay the debt, he will need a certificate of the amount of principal and interest on the current loan. This document is issued by a credit institution and submitted to the Pension Fund along with an application for the disposal of maternal capital. In this case, the borrower simultaneously confirms the existence of a legal relationship with a specific lender and the validity of spending public funds, and in addition to the certificate provides a loan agreement.

Is it possible to find out about the amount of maternity capital by the certificate number?

Today, there are several ways to check information about the balance of MK funds.

1. Through the Internet. To do this, you need to use special services on the State Services portal and in your personal account on the Pension Fund website.
2. By directly contacting the Pension Fund. In addition to Pension Fund branches, you can also order an extract through multifunctional centers.
3. By sending a request by post.

An application for provision of information about the balance can be sent to the Pension Fund by mail. Accordingly, the response will be sent to the citizen by post. This method is not common today due to the long waiting period for an official response.

Applying for a certificate from the MFC

It is also possible to order a paper about the balance of maternity capital through the multifunctional center. But since the MFC is an intermediate link between the parent and the Pension Fund, you will have to wait longer for the certificate. The center's employees only accept applications from parents, and Pension Fund officials are responsible for issuing certificates.

• birth certificates for all children;
